Hi there! My name is Vela, and I'm a beautiful charcoal gal who came all the way up here from New Mexico. I was in a really bad situation, and I am so thankful that Save-A-Bull rescued me and gave me a second chance at life. My foster mom tells me I am such a doll! I love to give lots of kisses when I am ready to wake up and eat breakfast! I haven't met any tiny humans yet. I'm sure I would love them, but I have sharp teeth and haven't quite figured out that that hurts. I probably would do best in a home with bigger humans as I do tend to get excited with my mouth. I don't mean to hurt, but I am still learning manners as I didn't have the structure to learn that before. I currently live with pitties who are 12, 5, and 4 years old, along with my brother. I play well with others, and love cuddling with the other dogs. I also love snuggling up to my human, but sometimes I just want to relax on my own and will chill for a bit by myself. I have not met any cats, but I don't have much of a prey drive with all the squirrels outside. I am a sweet gal who wants to have a loving home, and would make a really great addition to any family that would give me some patience as I learn how to be the best dog ever. I'm hoping it's with you!
Ideal Home
A home with bigger humans would be ideal, as I can get excited and tend to get mouthy. I'm working on my manners and would do best in a patient environment. I'm not thrilled about the kennel yet, but I think I'll do well in there if given some toys to occupy my time.

Training & Support
I am not potty trained yet but am working hard at it and my foster mom is impressed with my progress, even with the snow! I think I would really benefit and love some obedience classes, as I just really want to please my humans.
