Shep

Meet Shep, a loyal, fun, and devoted ~3-year-old German Shepherd who is ready to be someone's everything! He came to us from SPACAR Animal Advocates, where a dedicated foster helped him overcome separation anxiety and transform into a joyful companion. In that time, Shep became crate and house trained, learned several commands, and discovered his love for running and water. This boy bonds quickly and loves intensely, wanting to be by your side through thick and thin. He's the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the world!

Ideal Home

Shep thrives in an active home with a large yard and a 6-foot fence, as he can easily clear a 4-foot fence. He enjoys playing with dog-friendly dogs his size and is good with kids and people. He would not do well in a home with cats or small/young dogs.

Ongoing Health

Shep had some elevated liver values on recent bloodwork, which his vet believes is stress-related. His new family should be prepared for a recheck in the coming weeks and to support him through this.

Training & Support

Shep is leash, crate, and house trained, and knows commands like sit, down, rollover, and has solid recall. He needs an owner with German Shepherd experience who can continue to build on the incredible foundation he's already laid.
