Matt is an 8-year-old gentleman with a heart of gold and a personality that shines! While he may not be winning any beauty contests, he's a true champion in spirit. Matt has overcome a serious head injury and the loss of an ear, but his capacity for love and joy remains unwavering. He's happiest when he's by your side, whether he's relaxing at your feet, snuggling in your bed, or rolling in the grass, which is one of his favorite pastimes.

At just over 70 pounds, Matt is a big boy with a gentle soul. He's an old soul looking for a forever home where he can share his endless love. Matt was found wandering in a park and was sadly set to be euthanized before a hero intervened and gave him a second chance.

Matt would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people. He enjoys the simple pleasures of life and would love a yard to roll in.

Matt has recovered from a past head injury and the loss of an ear. He is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Matt is house-trained and is known to be good with children under 8 and other dogs. He is an affectionate, gentle, and loyal companion.
