Dahlia is a 10-month-old, 35-pound "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as delicate and beautiful as her namesake flower. She's a sweet and playful pup who loves adventures and making new friends. Dahlia's leash skills are nearly perfect, and she enjoys walks, hikes, and exploring. She's a natural in the water and would make an excellent camping companion. Dahlia gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playtime with the four resident pups in her foster home. She's shy but sweet with new people and warms up quickly. Dahlia is crate and house-trained but may cry initially when left alone, which is something to consider for homes with shared walls. She would be happy in a dog-friendly apartment or condo as long as she gets plenty of exercise. Dahlia would thrive with another playful dog in the home or regular visits to doggy daycare. She hasn't been tested with cats or children but is expected to do well with respectful children 8 and older. Dahlia is a fantastic copilot and enjoys car rides. She has a good appetite and takes her time eating. At night, Dahlia settles beautifully in her crate, and eventually, she'd love to share a bed with her humans. She's a sweet, silly, snuggly, fun, and lovely pup who will bring joy to her forever family.
