Gerrie

Meet Gerrie! Gerrie is an adorable "super mutt" rescued from Baja Mexico, and he's one of eight adorable puppies looking for his forever home. We don't know much about his parents, but he and his siblings are a wonderful mix of breeds. They are all loving, friendly, and social with both people and other dogs. While Gerrie hasn't lived with cats, he's likely to get along well with them. He's a growing boy, currently weighing between 25-45 pounds, and is expected to be a large to extra-large breed when fully grown, potentially weighing anywhere from 60 to 110 pounds.

Ideal Home

Gerrie needs a home where his adopter understands that he is not yet house-trained and has the patience and time to dedicate to potty training. He is a large puppy and can have accidents, so a home that can manage this with understanding and without stress is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Gerrie is healthy and fully vaccinated. He is not yet sterilized, but has a sterilization surgery appointment scheduled for the end of June in the San Diego area. The adoption fee includes this surgery.

Training & Support

Gerrie is crate trained and sleeps well through the night. He will need naps in his crate during the day after playtime. Adopters must be committed to enrolling Gerrie in group puppy training classes to help him grow into an amazing adult dog.

Transporation

Gerrie is currently in the San Diego area. Local San Diego adopters will be prioritized until his sterilization surgery is completed. Adopters outside of the San Diego area will be considered after his surgery.
