This approximately 4-year-old, 50 lb lady is thought to be a German Shepherd mix, though with rescue, breed and age are always a delightful mystery! Shasha's versatility is one of her most charming traits; she can be playful, adventurous, cuddly, and relaxed all in one day. Her foster describes her as "calm but quirky," a perfect balance of playful energy and chill vibes.
Ideal Home
Shasha would thrive in a home with a yard where she can play, zoom, and enjoy the sunshine. She's also done wonderfully with other dogs of all energy levels and would likely love a playful canine companion. She has shown curiosity towards cats but with proper introductions and management, she may do well in a home with feline friends. Shasha adores children and has been gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving with a 6-year-old, making her an excellent family dog. She truly seems adaptable to most loving homes.

Transportation
Shasha is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
