This adorable 5.5-year-old, 60lb spayed female Staffordshire mix has been waiting patiently for her forever home for nine months, but we know her perfect person is out there! Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with just minutes to spare, and she's been dreaming of a loving family ever since. She's fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly gentle when taking treats. You'll often find her snoozing on a comfy bed, but she's always ready for a walk or some playtime with her stuffed toys. Akira adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive dogs. While she would be content as the only dog in her home, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only companion. She promises a lifetime of unconditional love!

Akira would love a home where she can snuggle up with her person and be the center of attention. She enjoys the company of calm, submissive pups but would also be happy as the sole canine in the household.
