Java

Java is a sweet and energetic young hound mix who is ready to find her forever home! She's about a year old and weighs around 40 lbs. Java arrived at our rescue as a new mom, and her puppies have all found their loving families. Now, it's her turn to be showered with the attention she deserves! She's up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Java would thrive in an active home with plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures. She'd make an excellent running or hiking buddy! While she's great with children, gentle introductions are recommended for any large, four-legged friends in the home. She can be a bit shy around some men, so a patient and understanding family would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Java is healthy and has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

This smart girl is already house and crate trained, and she knows "sit" (especially if a treat is involved!). We're working on "kennel" and "down" commands. Java is a chewer, so providing her with durable toys will be essential to keep her occupied and her puppy teeth healthy! She's very protective and alert, making her a wonderful companion.
