Rocky

Meet Rocky! This sweet 1-year-old Chihuahua mix is about 12 pounds of pure love, just waiting for his person. Rocky came to us from a California shelter, part of a large group of dogs rescued from a challenging hoarding situation. Now that he's safe and sound in the Pacific Northwest, he's ready to start his new life filled with comfort and affection. Rocky is a smart boy who likes to take his time warming up to new people, but once he decides you're his person, he's incredibly devoted! He has a good amount of energy, especially in the morning, and would absolutely thrive with a canine sibling or frequent playdates with other dogs. He needs plenty of opportunities to run and play. Rocky is making great progress with his manners and has come a long way. With a predictable routine, he's successfully potty trained to go outside. Could you be the hero Rocky is waiting for?

Ideal Home

Rocky would love a home where he can initiate friendships and bond with his person. He would also benefit from having a doggy sibling or regular interactions with other dogs, as he enjoys having a canine friend to run and play with.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is up to date on age-appropriate core vaccinations and is microchipped. He has been cleared by our medical team.

Training & Support

Rocky is working on his manners and has made great progress. He is potty trained to go outside when a routine is established. He may need continued support and a predictable routine to reinforce his training.
