Meet Phoenix, a handsome 4-year-old, 53 lb Boxer with a brindle coat who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This charming boy is bursting with personality, energy, and a whole lot of fun, and he's eagerly searching for an active and loving home to call his own! Phoenix is a sweet, goofy guy who loves to be in the middle of all the action. He would truly thrive with adopters who are looking for a canine companion to join them on all their walks, adventures, and everyday activities.

Ideal Home

Phoenix is an energetic and spirited dog who would do best in a home with an active lifestyle. Like many Boxers, he has a playful and expressive nature. When he gets excited, he enjoys a good "box" with his people, so continued work on manners is a must. He would do best in a home without very young children, or with older, dog-savvy kids who understand his enthusiastic nature. Phoenix has done well with other dogs but prefers slow introductions to new canine friends.
