Gentry is a handsome 5-year-old Plott Hound mix who weighs about 65 lbs. He's the perfect blend of mature companionship and youthful energy, with plenty of love to give and many happy years ahead.
His foster family has found Gentry to be an absolute delight. He's a fantastic walking companion who stays close by your side, shows impressive restraint by ignoring squirrels, and is a polite greeter to other dogs. He also enjoyed his visits to the dog park and has excellent manners in all situations. Having come from a shelter environment, Gentry is currently working on learning commands from the beginning, but he's a very smart boy and is picking things up quickly. He sleeps soundly through the night in his dog bed, is quiet around the house, and is unfazed by loud noises or busy surroundings. Ongoing Health
Gentry's adoption fee covers basic vetting, rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention (if old enough), and monthly flea/tick prevention.
Training & Support
Gentry will need a refresher in house-training. We strongly recommend enrolling Gentry in obedience training to help him transition smoothly into his new home, ensure he remains well-socialized, and strengthen the bond with his new family.
