Hi, I'm Poppy, a 48-pound Terrier mix with a heart that's absolutely overflowing with love! I have a happy-go-lucky personality and truly believe everyone I meet is just another best friend I haven't gotten to know yet. If you're looking for a dog who loves to give kisses, cuddle close, and be your constant companion, then I'm your girl! I'll happily stay right by your side soaking up every bit of affection you have to offer. I'm also a pretty big foodie, and if you've got a tasty treat, I'll show off my excellent sitting skills like the good girl I am.

More than anything, I just want to make my people happy and be loved right back. I do get so excited sometimes that I forget my manners and may jump up to say hello, but it's only because I'm so thrilled to see you and can't wait for your attention. With a little guidance, I know I can polish that habit, because I'm eager to please and already have great manners in so many other ways. My sweet, affectionate nature and joyful spirit make every day a little brighter, and I can't wait to find a family that will let me fill their home with love, kisses, and plenty of tail wags. XOXO!

• Applications to adopt Poppy start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption fee is $225 + tax.
• Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at the time of adoption.

Transporation

Poppy is located at the Humane Society of The Black Hills in Rapid City, SD. We can arrange transport for approved adopters.
