Carlos is a 7-month-old pup with the sweet, steady energy of an old soul. He came to us from the streets of a Mexican border town, and he’s handled his journey with grace. At around 30 lbs, he’s a wonderfully manageable size, substantial enough to feel present but still easy to have around. Carlos moves through life with a quiet confidence, as if he already knows what truly matters. He's affectionate, loves a good, long hug, and is always attuned to his people, checking in with a gentle presence.
Carlos is obedient and eager to please, possessing a natural awareness that makes him incredibly responsive. He's an attentive companion who notices your every move, making interaction feel effortless. His energy level is a rare find: he has the playfulness of a puppy but with a peaceful demeanor. He enjoys romping in the yard and playing with other dogs (he would absolutely love a dog sibling!), but he’s also perfectly content to settle down indoors, observe the world from a window, and be a calm presence in the room. Life with Carlos is about quiet companionship and a steady, loving presence that just fits.

Carlos would thrive in a home that appreciates his calm and steady nature. He would love a dog sibling to share his days with. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pet and the family.

Transporation
Carlos is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his perfect forever home by our rescue. Transports depart each week.
