Hazel

Hello, I’m Hazel, a playful and sweet American Bulldog mix with a white and tan coat and a big smile! I love to have fun and cuddle with my people. I’m house and crate trained, and I get so excited to go for walks. I’m a strong girl, so I need an owner who can handle me and teach me some manners, as I can pull hard on the leash.

I’m good with other dogs, especially mellow ones. We don’t know how I feel about cats, but I can be cat-tested if you'd like. I have a lot of energy and enjoy playing with balls, but I also like to relax and nap in my own space. I have a large kennel where I feel comfortable and safe. I don’t like to be outdoors for too long and prefer to be inside with my people. I’m afraid of being abandoned, so I don’t like to go far from home or my people.

Ideal Home

An owner who is used to large dogs and can handle me and teach me manners. Children in the home must be over 10 years old. I prefer to be inside with my people and do not like spending too much time outdoors.

Ongoing Health

I have some digestive issues and require a special diet of lamb and rice.

Training & Support

I need to be crated when unsupervised because I can chew on things.

I am being fostered in New Kent, VA but can be transported to other states for the right home. A transport fee may apply.
