Artemis

Meet Artemis, a vibrant 1-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs about 36 pounds. This smart and affectionate girl is already potty and crate trained, giving her a wonderful foundation for a happy life. Artemis absolutely adores attention and does wonderfully with children and other dogs. She's even living with a foster cat and is doing well, though she does have a tendency to chase cats when she's outside the home. Artemis is intelligent and eager to please, already mastering fetching and working on basic commands. She has a lot of potential and could even explore agility training as she loves staying active and engaged.

Ideal Home

Artemis would thrive in a home that's ready to continue her training, keep her active, and shower her with the love and structure she deserves. She would do best in a home where she has opportunities to practice leash manners, and while she does well with cats in the home, she may try to chase cats outside, so a secure yard or careful introductions would be beneficial.

Artemis is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Artemis is currently working on her leash training. She is a very intelligent and active girl who loves to learn and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and opportunities for mental stimulation.
