A little about them

Meet Shadow, a big-hearted, athletic German Shepherd/American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a goofy personality and a deep devotion to his people. He is affectionate, expressive, talkative, intelligent, and eager to be part of everyday life—from walks and car rides to patio time and relaxing on the couch.

Shadow is social with people and has generally done well around other dogs. In highly stimulating situations involving intense barking, aggression, or fighting, he can become over-aroused and reactive without timely redirection. With structure, consistency, and thoughtful guidance, Shadow can flourish as a loyal, hilarious, lifelong companion.

Ideal Home

Shadow would do best with an adopter who understands dog behavior, boundaries, structure, and managing arousal levels. He needs daily physical exercise, mental stimulation, enrichment, supervision, and continued training. He is food motivated, curious, and may get into harmless mischief when bored.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Shadow is obedient, eager to learn, and responds well to redirection and structure. He walks nicely on leash overall and can usually be redirected when distractions arise. He is house-trained.
