Eva

Eva is a precious 10.5lb Papillon Mix who was rescued in Puerto Rico and made her way to us in December 2025. She arrived very nervous and a bit shutdown, but we are so excited to see her true personality emerge! In her foster home, she loved playing with toys and other dogs and has really started to open up, even getting the zoomies and enjoying offsite adventures to places like Tractor Supply and PetSmart, where she impressed us with her confidence around new sights and sounds, including horses and cats. She's still making progress every day and is learning to trust more of our team members. We know she'll do wonderfully with a little extra patience and the lure of chicken!

Ideal Home

Eva needs a patient and understanding family who will allow her to come out of her shell on her own terms. She enjoys playing with other dogs and has shown confidence around cats. Her comfortability with children is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Eva is microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

While Eva is making great progress, she is still learning to trust new people and may have accidents in a new environment. We do not guarantee house training.
