Meet Silas!

Silas is a sweet 3-year-old, 15-lb mixed breed with a gentle and sensitive soul. He's a quiet, shy, and reserved little guy who is still learning to feel completely comfortable in a home environment. He finds comfort in having a crate, often choosing it as his safe, cozy retreat. Some of his favorite things include soft, fluffy beds and warm, cozy spots where he can relax and observe the world around him.

Ideal Home

Silas would do best in a calm, low-pressure home with someone who understands that he may take a little time to fully open up. His confidence really starts to grow around other dogs, and he would likely thrive in a home with a calm, friendly canine companion to help him feel more secure and show him the ropes.

Ongoing Health

Silas comes spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.

Training & Support

Silas is house-trained and reliably uses pee pads when available. He will go outside as well, though he is not leash-trained just yet. He will need a patient adopter who can give him time, space, and consistency as he continues to build trust and learn new skills.
