Marcella

Marcella is a sweet, quiet, and gentle girl who is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. She was found as a stray, heavily matted and covered in fleas, but has since been vetted and is ready to find her loving forever home. Marcella walks well on a leash, gets along great with other dogs, and adores people. She's waiting for a home where she'll never have to worry about being abandoned again.

Ideal Home

Marcella is best suited for a home without small children. She thrives in a calm environment where she can be a cherished indoor companion. As a small dog, she must always be supervised when outdoors and never left alone. If a doggy door is present, it must be accompanied by secure fencing, and the dog must be over 15 pounds.

Ongoing Health

Marcella is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. No health issues have been observed.

Training & Support

While Marcella walks well on a leash, housetraining is not guaranteed. We recommend kenneling when unsupervised to aid in housetraining and prevent any potential destructive tendencies. Patience and consistency will be key to her success in a new home.

Transportation

Marcella is located in Benton, Louisiana. Adopters are welcome to travel to us once approved. We do not ship or transport animals.
