Dottie

Meet Dottie, a 4-year-old, 62-pound female who is ready to shower her new family with love and cuddles! Dottie is a loyal and intelligent companion with a goofy personality that is sure to bring laughter into your home. She loves to play with rope toys and stuffies, and her favorite game is tug-o-war. Dottie is also a big fan of belly rubs and will happily snuggle up with you for hours. She's incredibly food motivated and learns new things quickly, making training a breeze.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can get at least one good walk or play session each day. She enjoys running and playing but is also a champion cuddle bug. She does best with one or two calm, big-dog companions, but would also be very happy as the only pet to soak up all the attention. Dottie is not a fan of young males or boys and would do best in a home without them, or an all-female household. She is wonderful when meeting women.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, although she's also happy to free-roam in her current foster home. While she walks calmly on leash, she can pull and bark when she sees other dogs. She is eager to please and will be a fantastic companion with positive reinforcement and continued guidance.

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
