Versace - DEAF

Hi, I'm Versace, but my foster family also calls me V or Sachie! I'm a 9-month-old pup who's primarily deaf, but don't worry, I don't let that slow me down one bit! I had a bit of a rough start before arriving in Minnesota, but I'm making up for lost time and living my best puppy life now with my foster family. I'm a curious and playful pup who loves to explore, especially if there's a fun toy, chew, or even a paper towel roll to investigate! I'm working hard on my potty training and only have occasional "oopsies" with my bladder, but I always let my humans know when I need to go for #2. I'm also learning to manage my energy and love going for walks. Baths and nail trims are a breeze for me, I practically enjoy them like a spa day!

Ideal Home

I'd do best in a home with a canine brother to wrestle and play with, as I thrive with canine companionship. While I live with older kids now and they're great with my puppy mouthing, a home with older children who are patient with me would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

I am deaf, which can sometimes lead to me being startled in low-light situations. If I see movement in the dark or a flashing light, I may bark or growl, but I mean no harm and am working through these fears.

Training & Support

I'm getting very close to being potty trained, but still have occasional accidents with my bladder. I also tend to put things in my mouth, which is typical puppy behavior that I'm continuing to learn from. I do well in my crate, especially with a treat, and may whine a little at first but settle quickly.
