Fred is a 2-year-old 70lb Dutch Shepherd / Plott Hound Mix. Fred is a silly, loving boy with a big loving heart . This gentle giant adores cuddling, giving kisses, and playing with his toys or playing fetch. He’s a goofy, happy dog who will always find a way to make you smile and quickly become everyone’s favorite. Fred is a loyal adventure buddy who loves going out and exploring, but he’s just as happy snuggling up with his people—especially kids!! He is very gentle, well-mannered, and does wonderful with children & other dogs! He is not reactive and has a calm, friendly nature that makes him an excellent family companion. He knows basic commands like sit and stay, walks beautifully on a leash, & is extremely well behaved. Fred has been patiently waiting for his forever home, and he truly deserves a family who will give him the love he’s ready to return tenfold.
If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order for bring them to their forever homes.
