LOUIE LOBO

Meet Loui Lobo, a 5-year-old, neutered Siberian Husky mix who seems to have missed the memo on typical husky behavior. Instead of constant howling and high energy, Loui prefers a more relaxed approach to life, enjoying shady naps, gentle kisses, and leisurely strolls. He still has a touch of husky spirit, and his leash walking can be a bit chaotic as he follows imaginary squirrels, but he's friendly, easy to handle on leash, and happy to learn with his people.

Loui has had previous home experience and was reportedly housebroken, got along well with other dogs in the home, and was a great car rider. However, he can be a bit possessive of attention and has a history of expressing his feelings through howling when he felt he wasn't getting enough one-on-one time. Despite this, he remains a very affectionate and sweet boy who loves to give kisses and enjoys being brushed. He’s also a polite boy who sits for treats and takes them gently. Loui enjoys exploring at his own pace before settling down to relax and observe his surroundings.

Ideal Home

Loui may do best in a home where his adopters are willing to help him learn that affection isn't a limited resource and that sharing is a positive trait.

Loui needs practice with leash manners. He also benefits from guidance in learning to share attention and manage his vocalizations when feeling possessive.
