Tigger Tiggy is the absolute definition of a soul dog! He forms deep, loyal connections with his people and will greet you with a huge smile and a happy dance. He's incredibly smart and motivated by a desire to please, though he certainly won't turn down a treat!

Ideal Home

Tigger would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can explore, zoom, and enjoy the sunshine. He could do well in an apartment with a semi-active family and proper exercise, but a yard is his ideal scenario. He's a great potential family dog and has done well with children ages 6-12. Tigger would also appreciate a patient, female doggy friend who can help him feel comfortable and confident in a new environment.

Ongoing Health

Tigger Tiggy is a pit bull mix, believed to be around 4 years old and weighs 68 lbs. As with all rescues, breed and age cannot be guaranteed.

Training & Support

Tigger is already crate trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, naturally slowing his pace when he senses tension. He has a solid recall and a charming "happy paw" dance when he comes to you. He was also respectful and calm around a resident cat.

Transportation

Tigger is currently fostered in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies to transport costs. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
