Dodger

Dodger is a wonderfully sweet and friendly young male dog who came to us as a stray. He was found with two chain collars embedded in his neck, indicating he may have been an outside dog. Despite his rough start, Dodger is incredibly affectionate and has enjoyed meeting people of all ages. He loves belly rubs and is a big fan of tennis balls, and as you can see, he looks quite dapper when dressed up! He even made a doggy friend here at the shelter, a female named Sony, and they have a blast playing together in our outdoor pens.

Ideal Home

Dodger would thrive in a home where someone is around often, or with another calm, friendly dog to keep him company, as he doesn't like to be alone. He has shown a tendency to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best. Due to his ability to climb fences, he will need to be walked on a leash and not left unsupervised in the yard.

Ongoing Health

Dodger has no known health conditions at this time.

Training & Support

Dodger is not yet house-trained. He will need continued guidance and reinforcement in this area. His fencing-climbing ability means he'll need to be kept on a leash when outdoors.
