This gentle eleven-year-old Terrier mix is a vision of quiet elegance with her mostly black coat and soulful eyes. At 46 pounds, Raiya carries herself with a calm confidence, happiest when she's close to her people, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. She’s the kind of companion who makes ordinary moments feel special, whether it’s a peaceful walk, a cozy nap nearby, or the satisfying crunch of her favorite carrots!

Ideal Home

Raiya is looking for a quiet and compassionate home that appreciates a slower pace. She is house-trained and friendly with strangers, and gentle with young children. While she will happily announce visitors with her voice, her quieter nature should be respected. A fenced yard and a peaceful environment will help her feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Raiya is being treated for an autoimmune condition that requires medication, regular veterinary care, and routine bloodwork. She also experiences recurring UTIs, occasional digestive upset, and arthritis that can affect her comfort and mobility. Some of her medications may lead to increased thirst and more frequent urination, which could result in occasional accidents.

Training & Support

Raiya knows simple commands like "sit" and "come." While she hasn't had formal training classes, she responds well to consistency and kindness. Patience and understanding will be key, especially concerning her health needs.
