Chester

Meet Chester! He's a large, handsome, and confident Shepherd Mix who has been waiting patiently for his forever home since May. Chester is a smart and playful pup who absolutely adores a good game of fetch and will happily chase balls all day long. He's a quick learner and, with a little guidance, is eager to please and ready to master new skills. Chester is affectionate and enjoys being close to his people, sometimes even a little pushy with his love!

Ideal Home

Chester would thrive in a home with a good-sized yard and moderate activity to keep him happily exercised. Due to his strong prey drive, he needs to be in a home without cats or small animals. He is recommended for children 13 and older.

Ongoing Health

Chester is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered. No specific health concerns are noted.

Training & Support

Chester responds well to verbal cues and was surprisingly easy to handle on walks. He knows the "sit" command and is eager to learn more. While affectionate, he can sometimes be a little pushy with his love, so continued positive reinforcement will help him continue to learn how to best express his affection. He will also need a proper dog test before meeting potential canine siblings.
