About JOY (Very Sweet, Kind, Loves All She Meets, Dogs, Adults, Kids, Happy, Loving)

I'm Joy! A sweet, kind, and loving 1-year-old Black Lab/Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs about 44 pounds. My brother George and I found ourselves looking for a home after wandering into a park, and we're so happy to be in foster care now! The vet even agreed "Joy" was the perfect name for me because I was so happy and wiggly. I'm a truly happy, loving, and affectionate girl who loves being part of my people's lives. I'm house-trained, crate-trained, and a great car rider. I'm doing well on a leash and love going on adventures. I get along great with my foster's dogs and cat, and I've shown nothing but kindness to everyone I meet. I especially love children! I thrive on attention, affection, and companionship, and I love resting my head on my foster's lap to make sure I'm being a good girl. My brother George and I adore each other and would make an amazing pair, but we can also adjust to separate homes. I'd love a family that enjoys simple pleasures like camping, hiking, walks, or just snuggling on the couch. With my beautiful coat and sweet, happy-go-lucky personality, I'm ready to bring happiness, loyalty, and unconditional love to a lucky family.

Ideal Home

I would love a family that enjoys life's simple pleasures such as camping trips, hiking trails, walks around the neighborhood, visits to coffee shops, outdoor cafes, or just curling up on the couch for snuggles after a fun day.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my shots.

Training & Support

I am house-trained, crate-trained, and mind very well. I'm doing okay on leash and could use a little more practice.
