About Roscoe

Three years is far too long for a good dog to wait. Roscoe is still hoping someone finally chooses him.

Roscoe is a handsome, loyal boy who has spent the last three years waiting for a chance at a real home. Found abandoned and scared, he was given a second chance by someone who patiently earned his trust and brought him to safety. Since then, he’s been living in boarding while waiting for the right person to see his potential. Roscoe was born around November 2021 and weighs about 77 pounds. Once Roscoe trusts you, he is a total cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and affection. He enjoys playing with squeaky toys, running around with his favorite ball, and engaging in a good game of fetch.

Ideal Home

Roscoe would do best in an adult-only home or a home with older children. He also needs a home with an experienced dog owner and a single-dog household where he can be the center of attention.

Ongoing Health

No specific health concerns were mentioned in the description.

Training & Support

Roscoe will need a patient, experienced adopter who can help him decompress and continue building confidence. He can be nervous with new people at first and needs time to warm up, but with consistency and reassurance, he learns quickly and wants to please his handler. A structured environment where he can continue training is recommended.
