Walnut

Walnut is a sweet and shy young female dog with a heart of gold. She's still learning to trust, especially around other dogs. With a little patience and a proper introduction, Walnut blossoms into a friendly and loving companion. She already knows how to sit, which is a great start to her training journey!

Ideal Home

Walnut would do best in a home where she can feel safe and secure. She can be a bit reserved at first, so a calm environment where she can adjust at her own pace would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Walnut is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Walnut is a bit shy with other dogs initially. Proper introductions are key to helping her warm up and build confidence. With time and positive reinforcement, she'll surely continue to learn and grow.

• Dog adoption fee: $150 (cash or check only)
• All adoptions are first come, first served at the shelter.
• Please bring an open heart, cash or check to pay, and transportation items (leash, crate/carrier, etc).

Walnut is located at Ruston Animal Control, 1212 McAllister St, Ruston, LA 71270. Transportation is available for approved adopters. Please inquire for details.
