Meet Merlin — our gentle giant with a heart of gold!

Merlin’s story could have ended very differently… but thankfully, it didn’t. This sweet boy was found scared, alone, and stray with a cable wrapped around his neck, trying to survive in a dangerous situation no dog should ever face. At just 11 months old, Merlin was still a baby — confused, frightened, and unsure who he could trust. Merlin is a Great Pyrenees, a true gentle soul, and at 75 pounds, he’s basically a big fluffy toddler. Despite what he’s been through, he has shown nothing but sweetness and resilience. We stepped in and said yes when he needed someone most. Merlin was rescued from that terrifying situation and placed into a loving foster home, where he finally learned what safety feels like. Wanting to give him every chance at success, we even invested in structured boarding, where he has learned good manners, leash walking, and gained confidence and routine. Merlin is still young, still learning, and still growing — but he’s already proven he wants to be a good boy. He just needs a family willing to guide him, love him, and give him the stability he’s never had. Ongoing Health

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines (DAPP with boosters, Bordetella, Rabies if old enough), multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter if old enough, flea & heartworm prevention while in our care, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Merlin has learned good manners, leash walking, and gained confidence and routine through structured boarding. He is still young, still learning, and still growing, and will need continued guidance and support.

• You are welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing the adoption contract.
• We provide individualized socialization, training guidance, and support based on the dog's needs to ensure a smooth transition for both pet and owner.

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions across the US from Houston, Tx for a small additional fee up to $350 (depending on destination). This includes a health certificate by a licensed vet deeming the pup healthy for travel. Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on licensed transport vehicles including buses and cargo vans. If available, private planes or in-cabin on Southwest Airlines (if small enough to fit in carrier under seat).
