Meet Butterscotch, a sweet, loving, and gentle boy who has already shown incredible resilience. He was found as a puppy, along with his mom and siblings, on the side of a busy highway. Sadly, before being rescued, Butterscotch had been hit by a car and never received the necessary care for his injury. After coming into rescue, it was evident he was badly hurt. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care and the generosity of supporters, Butterscotch underwent major surgery and now has a plate in his leg. The great news is that he is expected to heal beautifully and live a happy, normal life. Through it all, Butterscotch's sweet nature has shone through, and he absolutely adores cuddles and being close to his people. He is now ready for his next chapter: a forever home where he will always be safe, loved, and cherished.
