Thomas is a 3-year-old Pittie and retriever mix who's as loving as he is goofy! He's a people-focused boy who enjoys hanging out with his humans, whether it's working on laptops or watching TV. Thomas is also great with other dogs, enjoys a good game of fetch, and is friendly with kids. He's a wonderfully gentle and affectionate companion, always ready with a snuggle or a kiss. He's unaware of his size and truly believes he's a lap dog, wanting to be close to you at all times. Thomas has excellent house manners and doesn't have accidents indoors. He's fully crate trained but would love to sleep in your bed!
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can enjoy zoomies and outdoor play. He'd also love a family that enjoys an active lifestyle, including hiking, camping, and exploring. He would do best in a feline-free home.
Ongoing Health
Thomas is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He's a healthy boy!
Training & Support
Thomas is a smart and treat-motivated boy who already knows several commands like sit, down, "leave it," and fetch. He's a gentle treat-taker, making training a joy. He is also gentle lead trained for walks and we'll send a gentle lead home with him. He does best with a rubber toy like a Kong in his crate for enrichment.

Thomas is located in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). Transport is available via USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
