Jackpot

Jackpot is a gorgeous, big teddy bear of a puppy with a heart full of love! He adores other animals and considers every person he meets his new best friend. Jackpot is incredibly smart, a total people-pleaser, and very treat-motivated, which will be a great asset as he learns housebreaking. He also loves to play, and if you have a kiddie pool, he'll be thrilled! Jackpot recently underwent entropion surgery to correct an issue with his lower eyelashes, ensuring he'll no longer experience eye drainage or pain. He's a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix, approximately 4.5 months old and weighing around 45.8 lbs. While his adult size isn't guaranteed, he is already a substantial pup and is expected to grow into a large dog.

Ideal Home

A patient and loving family committed to continuing his training and socialization. An active family that can provide daily exercise and playtime would be ideal, along with a securely fenced yard for him to romp and explore safely.

Ongoing Health

Jackpot has had entropion surgery to correct inward-turned lower eyelashes, which were causing him pain and potential eye damage. He will no longer suffer from eye drainage or discomfort. All puppies at this rescue are spayed/neutered, wormed, microchipped, and have age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jackpot is not yet housebroken and will need a family committed to consistent training and positive reinforcement. He is treat-motivated, which will aid in housebreaking. Puppies should not be expected to hold their bladder for more than one hour per month of age, so a clear potty plan is essential.
