Hi there, I’m River! I'm a two-year-old, 37-pound pit bull/Australian Shepherd mix with a soft heart and teddy bear vibes. I'm the kind of guy who lets kids dress me in hoodies just for fun – that’s me, gentle, sweet, and always up for a cuddle! I love to play, especially with rope toys and balls, and my personal fave is enjoying Beggin Strips! I get along great with kids and dogs and don’t show any food or resource guarding. I have not been cat tested, but can be if you’d like. My manners are pretty good, except I do jump up when I’m excited, but a quick correction and I settle right down.

Training & Support

I’m crate trained and do well on a leash, but I’m still working on potty training. My brother was potty trained in two weeks, and being beyond puppy age, I will likely train that fast too! I do jump up when I’m excited, but a quick correction and I settle right down.
