Theodore is a handsome tricolor mixed-breed boy who came to us as a stray and is still trying to understand that the world can be a safe place. Right now, he's very timid and easily overwhelmed, taking things slowly as he adjusts to shelter life. Beneath his shy exterior is a sweet, gentle dog who just needs time, patience, and kindness. Theodore is not pushy or demanding--he's a quiet boy who prefers to observe from a safe distance until he feels comfortable. Every small step forward for him is a big victory. With a calm, patient home, Theodore has the potential to truly blossom. He will need someone willing to let him set the pace, build trust slowly, and help him learn that people can be gentle and predictable. In return, he will offer lots of love and the bond of a dog who has learned to trust again!

All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.

• Adoptions are first come, first served. Filling out an application does not guarantee an animal will be held. You must meet the animal in person to be considered for adoption.
• If you rent, you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.

Theodore is located at Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, 1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd, Danielsville, GA 30633. Viewing and adoption hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. Transport options are not mentioned.
