ZOEY

Zoey is a sweet, shy, and submissive puppy who is blossoming quickly in her foster home! Everything is still new and exciting for her, and she is a bit hesitant with new experiences. She's conflict-avoidant and will back up and crawl on the ground around new people, dogs, and cats. Initially, she was a little wary of leashes, patio doors, loud noises, and stairs, but she found comfort with her foster's resident dog and little girl.

Zoey has really come out of her shell recently! She's happy with her feeding routine, loves to follow her foster dog around, and is a champion at asking for affection by gently placing her paw on your hand. She enjoyed a fun dinner outing with grandma, including a car ride and walks with both dogs. Zoey had a blast playing fetch and hide-and-seek, and at dinner, she contentedly explored and observed from behind the table. She's also made respectful introductions to the resident cats, learning to back off when they indicated they needed space. Now, she happily waits by the front door, ready for her walks! Zoey is 68 pounds.

Ideal Home

Zoey would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. Her foster home has an older dog and a young child, and she has shown comfort and affection with them. She has also been respectful of the resident cats.

Zoey is a healthy puppy.

Training & Support

Zoey is learning to be more comfortable with new experiences and is already showing great progress. She is learning to be patient and respectful when meeting new animals and people. She now patiently waits by the door for her walks.

• Visit our adoption center located at 12425 Monterey Rd in San Martin anytime during open hours (12-6pm weekdays, 12-5 pm weekends).
• No appointment is necessary.
• There is no pre-application process.
