Teddy

I am an amazing little boy named Teddy, about 1 year old, looking for my special forever home! I was found on a busy street and brought into rescue by a kind person who scooped me up to keep me safe. I was scared and unsure of my surroundings when I arrived at my foster home.

After a vet check-up and a visit to a specialist, it was discovered that I have a neurological disorder, which I was likely born with. This condition affects my vision, but I am a very smart boy and have learned to navigate my environment. I can even manage the outside stairs at my foster home during the day, though I get a bit scared going down them. I am a good boy and can be house-trained with a consistent potty schedule. I also love to snuggle and relax with my foster parents!

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. While I enjoy the company of other animals, including chickens and a pot-bellied pig, I prefer smaller canine friends as larger dogs can be intimidating. I am not suitable for homes with children.

Ongoing Health

I have a neurological disorder that affects my vision. I am neutered.

Training & Support

I am crate-trained and house-trained with a consistent potty schedule. I am not yet leash-trained. I am still learning to navigate going down stairs and may need some gentle encouragement and patience.
