Luna XII

Hi there! My name is Luna XII, and I'm a beautiful 4-year-old fawn girl looking for my forever home. I'm a bit shy, but also very smart, protective, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I ended up here because my previous family had to surrender me due to some resource guarding and not getting along with the other animals in their home.

I'm a big fan of car rides, chewing on bones, and my favorite pirate chicken toy. I love greeting my people with a toy in my mouth, giving kisses, and snuggling up in a warm lap. When the weather's nice, I enjoy swimming and hiking! I'm also house-trained and crate-trained, and I sleep soundly in my kennel at night. When my humans are away, I'm happy to rest on my dog bed or in my crate. I'm well-behaved when I'm outside and don't dig or try to jump fences. I do get a little nervous about nail trims and vaccines, but I'm working on it!

Ideal Home

I can live with another dog and cats, but it's important that all food, treats, and toys are kept away to prevent any resource guarding. I've also lived with a 10-year-old human and did just fine!

Ongoing Health

I am spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I am working on resource guarding, so a home that can manage this with proper management of food, treats, and toys will be key to my success.
