Violet

Violet is a spirited and loving 5-year-old, approximately 15-pound, blond Cairn Terrier looking for her next chapter. She was recently surrendered due to her previous owner's declining health and is now ready to find a stable and loving family. Violet is a companionable and loyal girl who enjoys being close to her person and being part of your daily life. She is comfortable sleeping in her own dog bed or crate.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home where she can be a cherished companion. Due to her size and breed, she is not suitable for homes with children under 5. While she has lived most of her life as an only dog and would do best as such, she may do well with another dog in the right home, provided introductions are careful and her owner is confident.

Ongoing Health

Violet is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventative. She has also been micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Violet is house-trained and familiar with pee pads, which she will use reliably during transitions. With consistency and patience, she adjusts quickly to her new family's routine. She is an active terrier who enjoys playing fetch and engaging with her people.

Violet is currently located in the immediate Austin area. Adoptions are limited to the immediate Austin area due to the rescue's thorough adoption process, which includes home visits and a trial adoption period.
