Teddy

Teddy is a friendly, happy, and energetic 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who's ready for an active life! This 57 lb. boy was found as a stray and was very thin, but he's now eager to find his forever family. He loves playing hard with other dogs and is respectful of them, making him a great companion for canine friends. Teddy has long, thick hair that will require professional grooming several times a year. He’s smart and anxious to learn, and we are currently working on his leash training and teaching him to sit on command.

Ideal Home

Teddy needs a home with another young dog about his size, as he thrives on canine companionship and play. He would also do best in a home where someone is present most of the time to provide him with company and support. Unfortunately, Teddy is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Teddy was found as a stray and was very thin, but he is now neutered and vaccinated. No other ongoing health concerns were noted.

Training & Support

Teddy is a smart boy who is eager to learn! We are currently working on his leash manners and teaching him to sit on command. With consistent positive reinforcement and a patient approach, he'll continue to blossom.
