Princess is a delightful 4-year-old spayed female, a 45-50 lb terrier pittie mix with a heart full of love and energy! She was once facing a grim future due to her exuberance, but thankfully, she's now safe and sound, waiting for her forever family. Princess thrives on interaction and enjoys car rides and squeaky toys. She's a smart cookie who knows her commands but can get a bit jumpy when excited. With a gentle correction and a cue like "sit," she'll happily settle down for pets. She's a natural chewer, so providing her with plenty of appropriate chew toys will keep her happy and your belongings safe. Princess is a vocal girl who will bark to let you know she needs to go potty or wants some love. She's also friendly with other dogs, though her energetic nature might be a bit much for very small animals.
Ideal Home
Princess would be a wonderful addition to an active family with older children, an active couple, or an active single person. She absolutely needs a securely fenced yard to safely explore and play. She is not suited for apartment living.
Ongoing Health
Princess is up to date on all her vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
Training & Support
Princess is crate trained and house-trained. She knows basic commands like sit, come, stay, off, and heel for leash walking. While she understands that sitting earns pets, she may need continued gentle guidance to manage her excited jumping. As an avid chewer, providing her with a variety of engaging chew toys is recommended.
