Meet Akira!

This gorgeous 5.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix weighs about 60lbs and has a face that will melt your heart. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her perfect match for almost nine months. It's a mystery why this sweet girl hasn't had any adoption applications, as she's truly a gem! Akira is fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly gentle when taking treats. She loves to snuggle and thinks she's a tiny lap dog, often found snoozing on a comfy bed until it's time for a walk. She enjoys chewing on bones and playing with her stuffed toys.

Ideal Home

Akira adores people and would be happy with calm, submissive canine companions. However, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only, the sole focus of your affection.

Akira has no known health issues.

Training & Support

Akira knows her basic commands and is a good listener. She is already crate-trained.

Transporation

Akira is currently in foster care in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is secured. Transports depart every few weeks, and she will be placed on the next available transport upon approval.
