Kylie

Kylie is a sweet 4-year-old Lab/Cur mix who arrived at the shelter a bit skinny after being found as a stray. She came in with her sister, Kendall, and while she'd love to stay with her, she understands that adopting two dogs can be a big commitment. If she can't be adopted with Kendall, Kylie would do best in a home with another dog companion, as she can be a little anxious on her own. She's a shy girl at first but warms up and would make a wonderful addition to your family!

Ongoing Health

Kylie is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. She has received her first injection and will need an adopter who can continue her treatment protocol and attend her appointments. Polk County Humane Society will cover the cost of her treatment even after adoption.

Transporation

Kylie is located at Polk County Humane Society in Bolivar, Missouri. We offer transport to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA, and St. Louis areas twice a month. For potential adopters in these areas, we can arrange a virtual meet-and-greet via FaceTime or another app. Please note this on your appointment request. An additional fee applies for transport: $100 for Denver and Des Moines, and $50 for St. Louis.
