Meet Joe Faith!
Joe Faith came to us after we took a leap of faith ourselves. We were contacted about several dogs living outdoors with very little shelter during days of torrential rain and severe storms. Thankfully, Joe is now safe, loved, and ready to find a forever home.
Joe is an incredibly sweet, easygoing little guy who loves being close to his people. He gets along well with other dogs, enjoys tagging along for car rides, and has a calm, affectionate personality that’s easy to fall in love with. Whether he’s curled up on a dog bed, relaxing on the couch, or proudly carrying your sweatshirt to his favorite spot, Joe is happiest when he’s near his family.
He’s a wonderful house guest. Joe is crate trained, sleeps quietly through the night, appears to be house trained, and has shown no destructive behavior. He enjoys running zoomies in the yard, playing fetch, and squeaky toys, but settles down beautifully once he’s back inside. He’s already learned “sit,” is working on “wait,” and is quickly picking up good leash manners. He’s eager to learn and responds well to positive guidance.
Joe has also spent time calmly observing cats through a baby gate and may be able to live peacefully with a cat given a slow, proper introduction.

Training & Support
Like many dogs who have experienced uncertainty in their past, Joe does have some resource guarding tendencies with items he considers his own while indoors. Joe redirects nicely, is highly trainable, and has already made great progress in a short amount of time. He’s eager to learn and responds well to positive guidance.
