Dixie

Dixie is a sweet 12-year-old Chihuahua who came to us from a hoarding case. She was the oldest of 18 Chihuahuas who needed a second chance. Dixie had some dental issues and three mammary tumors removed, but she’s a happy and healthy girl now! She’s heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and crate trained. Dixie is still very active, loves her humans, and is good with children. She's ready to live out her golden years in a loving home. She would be happy as the only dog or with other canine companions.

Ideal Home

Dixie would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of love and attention. She's also good with children.

Ongoing Health

Dixie is heartworm negative and has been fully vaccinated. She previously had 3 mammary tumors removed and her dental health was addressed.

Training & Support

Dixie is crate trained and enjoys her humans.

Transportation

Dixie is located in Tennessee. We are unable to arrange transport for her, and you will not be able to meet her prior to adoption.
