Carmelo

Carmelo is a Shepherd mix with the sweetest, most gentle soul, born in mid-March 2025. This loving boy is a little on the shy side at first, but with kindness and patience, he quickly warms up and shows just how affectionate and loyal he can be. He would love to be your one and only pup, as he does best when he does not share a home with other dogs. Carmelo is already potty trained and is proving to be a quick learner, eager to please and easy to train. With his gentle heart and loving nature, Carmelo will make a truly special addition to any family ready to give him the love and reassurance he deserves.

Carmelo will thrive in a calm, patient, and loving home where he can continue to grow and feel secure. He does best as the only dog in the household.

Ongoing Health

The adoption fee of $150 includes spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup.

Training & Support

Carmelo is already potty trained and is proving to be a quick learner, eager to please and easy to train.

• Applications are reviewed by the rescue team. If it's a good fit, the foster family will be contacted to set up a meet.
• Home visits are part of the adoption process.

Carmelo is located in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Adoptions are limited to families living within this area.
