Saro

Hi, I'm Saro! I'm a handsome shepherd mix, about three years young and weighing in at 58 pounds. I'm a sweet boy with a fun-loving personality, and I'm also very smart and eager to please. I love everyone I meet – no need for a warm-up period, I'm just that social!

My story is one of bravery. I was found wandering with my pals Seiko and Spyker. We were trying to keep Seiko safe while she was in heat and being chased by other dogs. We hid under a car until a kind lady rescued us, and we'll always be grateful to her for keeping us safe.

I'm an energetic guy who also knows how to relax. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, and I walk wonderfully on a leash. I love exploring the world with my people! I get along great with other dogs, but I haven't been tested with cats, so I'll need a feline-free home. I'm an excellent travel companion, happily hopping into the car for any adventure. I already know a few commands and I'm very treat-motivated, so I'm excited to learn even more!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can share my energy and affection. Because I haven't been tested with cats, I cannot be placed in a home with furry felines.

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines.

Training & Support

I'm already house-trained and crate-trained and walk well on a leash. I know a few basic commands and am eager to learn more.
