Rodney Copperbottom wants nothing more than to be someone’s little shadow. Curled up nearby, living a quiet life with someone who feels like home. He’s not looking for a crowd, just his person. He had a rough past, and it shows in how he chooses who he trusts. He can be nippy when he’s scared or pushed too fast, and for full transparency he was one of the first dogs Ive ever had to use bite gloves on. You have been warned.

But let me tell you- once he decided he wanted to trust me, that was it. He's my little guy now. But he needs a new home. A patient, understanding one that respects his boundaries. This isn’t a dog you scoop up on day 1 and pass around. This is a dog you spend weeks earning trust from.

Rodney will absolutely thrive in a calm, adult-only home who doesn’t take things too personally. Just give him time, consistency, and a little space, and you’ll get a devoted little companion who bonds hard and loves deeply.
