Della (AL)

Della is a sweet and goofy young Bluetick Coonhound who was born on April 28, 2025. She's waiting in Mobile, AL, for her forever home after deciding hunting wasn't quite her thing. In foster care, Della has blossomed into a wonderful companion. She absolutely adores snuggling and being close to her people, often considering personal space a mere suggestion. Della loves to explore and sniff out little critters, and she's a playful pup who enjoys a good game of tug-of-war with her canine friends.

Ideal Home

Della would thrive in a home where she can be close to her family and has opportunities to explore. She does well with children and loves to play with other dogs. We haven't tested her with cats.

Della is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Della is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She's happy to relax in her crate, especially when she knows others are nearby, and is comfortable with the door open or closed. Della is very gentle when taking treats and will sit patiently for her meals. She also tolerates baths well and is a quiet companion indoors.
